ChallengeConstruction Dewatering

OverviewCondon-Johnson was contracted to install the temporary shoring and provide dewatering for the Moscone West Convention Center excavation.

ResultsCondon-Johnson designed and installed the dewatering system to allow excavation of a 30 foot deep excavation of a 500 foot by 300 foot site. The scope included installing 30 dewatering wells, installation and maintenance of pumps, associated piping, back-up generator, and sediment tanks. The system was maintained for 19 months and then removed.
